on Christmas eve a girl named Katie and a boy named teddy, Katie was 10 and teddy was 14 they always had Christmas they loved Christmas until there dad died. Katie was making a video how teddy is so mean to hear teddy heard her talking about him, of cause he started teasing her by making her chase him around the house then there mum  stooped them.

there mum had to go to sadly, when she went teddy was going out with his friends then Katie asked to come with he said no but she secretly came with him and video tape him stealing a car she was surprised he can drive after he went home, Katie was in his room teddy told her get out but why did you steal he said you cant prove it she i got it all on tape he started  chasing her but did not keep so he up and crashed in to mum Katie asked mum are you are OK "yes" Mum said why were you fighting Katie said because he pushed me in the wall then Mum went to work again she said sorry Katie said your welcome then they were going to sleep they heard a "ho ho ho" Katie woke teddy up saying Santa is here they went out side and saw his slay Katie went in the slay then teddy they saw santa giving presents.

on the weekend we went paint bowling for my sisters birthday i had to lie about  my age we had to were this halo looking mask  and paint gun we went it the first round i got shot like 5 times in the leg not to lie it was very painful but of cause our team won that first round second round it okay because i did not get hit but i hit my brother it the arm and bum and my mum on her hand but we lost that 3 and final round i got like like so many in the leg because there was  not much hiding spaces but got some on the of the head i screaming saying head shot and he it was a good day bye.

Te Reo Selfie Video for Maori Language Week

For Maori language week we were learning to talk about ourselves in Maori. We made a selfie video to show this. I found this really hard because it took heaps of attempts and translating my script was really hard too. I am proud of myself for finishing this video because I don´t normally speak Maori. If I was to do this again, I would edit it differently so I can add photos and other things to support what I say. My goal is to say my pepeha in taumata one day, but I am very shy and worried I might muck up without my paper with me. I hope you like my video.

I was learning about safety while hunting. In my reading  group we are learning to find information in what we read so we can understand it. This week we have been learning to use the correct structure for Explain writing. My goal was to
spell all my words correctly, I think I did this well. I found it hard to explain why rubbish affects our
environment but got some help from my writing buddy. Here is my writing. I hope you like it.

How Rubbish Affects our Environment

How many wildlife died from eating rubbish ? About 100,000 wildlife die each year from rubbish
like turtles, birds and  whales. The reason the animals are dying is because they like to eat it ,They get confused with their food and rubbish. Our world is turning to a mess with rubbish our earth is dying.

Every animal population gets lower and lower because of our rubbish

That we throw out about 100,000 animals die each year from plastics and other rubbish . Animals
can get confused with rubbish and their prey. Just like a turtle can get confused with a plastic bag
and a Jellyfish.

We need to put our rubbish in the bin firstly because  the animal population is getting lower and secondly because all of our fish will die and also our birds because the adults feed  it to their babies and their babies die.That is why we need to stop littering an put our rubbish in the bin.

toku pepeha

We have been learning our pepeha so that we can say it in taumata, and eventually on our own marae. I do not like to speak in front of large groups so I am very nervous. It was hard for me to find all the parts of my pepeha because my family didn´t know some parts, but I found them on the internet. Hopefully over the year I can build the courage to say my pepeha in taumata.
